Jika anda masih menggunakan MS Office 2003, pastinya anda berdepan masalah untuk membuka file atau document dari Office 2007. Sekiranya anda ingin terus menggunakan Office 2003 sementara menanti versi terbaru, Office 2010 yang akan dilancarkan tidak lama lagi, untuk membolehkan anda membuka file atau document dari Office 2007 pada Office 2003 yang digunakan sekarang, anda memerlukan "Compatibility Pack" dari Microsoft (Percuma).
Selepas install compatibility pack ini, anda boleh menggunakan Word, Excel dan Powerpoint pada Office 2003 atau 2000 untuk membuka (open) , edit dan save file tersebut kedalam format baru Office 2007.
